Who we are

We envision a Mozambique where all people have access to quality, compassionate and equitable health care.

The Mozambican Association for Training and Education in Health (MZ-TECH) is a national association that supports health facilities in their mission to improve the quality of care and services offered to their users.

Established in 2020, MZ-TECH carries out national activities related to the treatment of people living with HIV and reducing the risk of mortality from opportunistic diseases.

MZ-TECH provides training, technical support and participates in meetings of provincial health committees where HIV cases are discussed together with health units and other cooperation partners.

Our Goals

MZ-TECH's goals are rooted in improving the Mozambican healthcare system. By providing comprehensive support to health facilities, we believe that together we can achieve a strong national health system.

Helping to improve the performance of healthcare services by evaluating the care provided to users.

Provide technical assistance to health facilities clinicians through training, monitoring, and mentoring

Carry out operational studies to improve health services

Support the development and implementation of measures to improve the quality of the health information system in health facilities.

Advice on the planning and allocation of human, material and financial resources within the health care system

Develop health promotion and disease prevention activities

Design and implement health and psychosocial programs

Collaborate with national or international associations, companies and institutions with common goals and projects
